My new perception on Boo Radley

My perception of Boo really changed after reading chapters 4-8. At first I thought that Boo Radley was really creppy and weird like a nobody. But then later I sort of realized Boo wasn't so bad because the author really started to bring out his true nature. For example, Boo played games with Jem and Scout by leaving them things they enjoyed. Boo left them gum, and other items that the kids enjoyed taking. Boo obviously enjoyed it being a secret which I realized he sort of was coming out of his shell you could say from being sheltered to long.

When Scout had the duscussion with Miss Maudie and she said, "They take the Bible literally you know." This made me think that Boo worries about fitting in with the town cause of the way he has acted or just the way the family acted because of religion or maybe just because of the stories people have been told about him going crazy. I also think Boo could be a little weirded out because his brother filled up the tree with cement because he told Jem and Scout it was dying so now they might think the Radley's are truly weird people.

Who I am most like

I think out of Dill, Jem and Scout I am most like... Scout. I am most like Scout because I can be a smart mouth and try and stick up for people. I have always been like that talking back as a youngster and older. I also try to stick up for people even if I don't have that much respect for just because I always try to be nice to everybody.

My first impression of Boo Radley

My first impression of Boo Radley was a creepy loner type of guy. I also figured he didn't have a very good child hood because to be like that you'd have to be kind of "messed up" I guess you could say as a child. When you think about it he's pretty scary because he is thirty and he follows people with his eyes and shuts his shutters every Sunday to be sealed off from every one else.

The best thing about english so far

The best thing about english so far is blogging. Blogging is just a really fun thing to do especially for people at our age cause a lot of us do it already. Another reason I like this is because it will be a lot faster than writing especially for me because I am really fast at typing but really slow at writing. Blogging is also enjoyable to express your self in a different way. I look foward to doing more blogging throughout the year.
