I think Fire and Ice meant to me is that everything no matter what it is has some kind of opposite that doesn't relate to it. I also think this poem means that when things come together such as fire and ice something happens. For example if you had fire and ice the fire would melt the ice or if you and fire and water the water would put out the fire. Another possibility this could mean is that people think the world is so divided they're not sure how it will end.
I can relate to this poem because this really is how I see some of the world today. The way things are and used to be split up, like how people used to be segregated because of their skin color. To some it was like putting fire and ice together and they didn't think blacks deserved to be treated fairly. Some other ways I can relate to this poem is because most people do think the world is going to end one way and some the other and I myself might be leaning to the world having a more firey destruction.
